The Singapore Rollersports Federation (SRF) is pleased to announce the updated selection policy for skateboarding at the upcoming Asian Games (Aichi-Nagoya 2026).
For major multi-sport events sanctioned by World Skate (the international governing body for skateboarding) and aligned with the Asian Games framework, a formal selection process is required to identify the athletes who can best represent Singapore at that time. The selection criteria are tailored to the specific rules and qualification pathways of each competition and may vary accordingly.
In the case of Major Games such as the Asian Games (alongside the SEA Games, Commonwealth Games, and Olympic Games), the selection criteria must also comply with and receive approval from the Singapore National Olympic Council (SNOC).
All SRF Selection Policies for skateboarding consist of one main component:
1. Competition-Specific Selection Policy
Athletes must fulfil all requirements outlined in the policy to be considered for nomination to the final travelling squad.
The full Asian Games 2026 Skateboarding Selection Policy is now available for download/viewing on our website. We encourage all eligible skateboarders, coaches, and supporters to review the details carefully.
This policy reflects SRF's commitment to fair, transparent, and performance-based selection as we continue building towards strong representation in street and park disciplines on the major stage.
