Dear Friends,

This year is the 2nd year for the RS Cup which will be held on the 20th October 2007 for the Junior Division and on the 3rd & 4th November 2007 for the Senior Division. The RS Cup is co-organized by Tampines Inline Hockey Club and Rollersports Singapore and supported by Singapore Sport Council and Tampines Central CC.

Details of the RollerSports Annual General Meeting 2007 are as follows:

Date: 8th of September 2007, Saturday.

Time: 2pm-4pm

Location:  Level 2, Room 211. YMCA of Singapore.

Charity is on even when it rains..

We are sad that the Charity Skate had to be cancelled due to the weather. 

But Skateline will still make its donation to the Children’s Cancer
Foundation for every skater that has registered for the Charity Skate.
 A total of $3740.00 will be donated.

It was since 2004 that Singapore Women's team last took part in the FIRS Inline Hockey World Championships, this year it was held in Bilbao (Spain). With 7 countries taking part this year, Singapore had to compete as the only Asian team against Olympic stars from team USA and other hockey giants from the European nations.

The next Asian Indoor Games (AIG) will be held in Macau from the 26th Oct to 3rd Nov 2007.

As in the last AIG, Skateboarding have been included under Extreme Sports.

Thus RollerSports Singapore (RS) will assist by being the NSA that nominates the Extreme Inline and skateboarding athletes to the AIG 2007.

Take up the challenge to skate from Woodlands to Esplanade for charity

A. G. Sports runs a skate school that offers in-line skating instruction from beginner to advanced level to individuals, organizations, and schools. They engage only ICP-certified instructors and request for the contact information of recently certified individuals so that they may get in touch with them.
