Interview with Winner of Urban Extreme, Note (Mr Apichat Rutnin as translator):

Q: What is the worst injury you’ve had?
A: Finger broken and a long time ago, I hit my face on the concrete.

Q: So you’re not afraid if you do the same trick again after you got hurt?
A: Just forget it… if you fell like one time, I think you can do it [the next time] because you know you have learned. Because you fail and you know why you fail.

Q: Did you like competing in Singapore?
A: Yes. I hope come back Singapore again for the next competition.

Quotable quotes from Apichat Rutnin

Proud of Yourself
No matter how bad you do in a day against other people, if you are better than yesterday, that is important. You should be proud of yourself .

Asian Athletes a Miracle
Of course, Australians, Americans and some Europeans, they’ve been doing it for over 20 years; so naturally, their system is very well developed in supporting [the scene]. Take into account the support they get from the government, from the private sector, the achievement that is the Asian athletes today is a miracle already.
