Charity Bike 'n' Blade 2007 is a fund raiser which aims to raise $500,000 for three beneficiary organisations under the banner “Youth At Risk”. They are: The Salvation Army – a global volunteer welfare organisation that runs youth programmes as well as a residential home for abandoned, abused and neglected children; Pertapis Centre for Women and Girls – a welfare home for abused women and girls; and Ling Kwang Youth Centre – a social service centre in the HDB heartlands serving children from needy or broken homes.
Organised by global technology integrator Avanade, the three-day event (7-9 Sept) will involve a 400km cycling and inline skating route covering Malaysia and Singapore, with the final 40 km constituting the Singapore leg.

Participants in Charity Bike ‘n’ Blade 2007 contribute to the fund raising effort by raising the minimum amount for the Malaysia-Singapore segment or the Singapore-only segment.
