Every sport has its own risks and dangers. In order to prevent injuries, here are some safety tips that you should take note of when skating:

1. Wearing protective gears (Helmets, guards including knee, elbow and
wrist guards).
2. Checking of all equipment before and during skating. Ensure that the wheels are in good shape, secure and skates are the proper size.
3. Making sure that the environment is safe and secure. Try to avoid
skating on wet or slippery ground to prevent slipping and falling.
4. Skate to one's ability. Do not attempt to skate on ramps or down a
slope if you are not capable of doing it.
5. Avoid skating in traffic, unless absolutely necessary.

Dear Figure Skaters,

RS will be holding a selection for representatives to send to the 13th Asian Rollerskate Championship from 12-22 Oct 2009 in Taiwan.

Up for a night skate? This coming august, note the auspicious date and timing -> 08/08/08, 8:08pm!

Meeting point: Outside Hvper Sport, at East Coast Park
The skate will be from the 7Eleven store at East Coast park to Changi Village and back to 7Eleven East Coast.

Total distance is about 40km.

The Executive Committee led by Mr Felix Yeo stepped down after completing its term of office on 24.05.2008.

At an EOGM held on 24.05.2008, at the Conference Room of Tampines East CC, a new committee was elected.
