Singapore Science Park is organizing a week-long sports carnival at Science Hub from 21st to 24th May 2007, 11am-2pm. This sports week will feature sports displays, sports celebrities, sports demonstrations, talks, try outs, etc.

RollerSports, along with other National Sports Associations, have been invited to participate in the sports carnival.

Dear Friends,

a wind of change is blowing through our sports world and right now everyone can feel it. Since my elections, back in 2005, I knew our Federation had to "raise from its ashes", working hardly on its image, its troubled financial situation and mostly on its self-confidence.

I can look behind today and proudly gather at the massive work carried out: attentive contacts with the IOC and the international sports Bodies, common sacrifices to fix the balance, and mostly, a full co-operation from my central committee and from a mass of valuable friends who contributed to the development of the roller sports all over the world.

ICP Singapore will be conducting inline skate instructor courses in May 07. 
These courses will certify you to be an inline skate instructor and you will be certified to teach professionally. 
The dates are as follows:
Level 1 Program  - 25th to 27th May 2007
Level 2 Program - 1st to 3rd June 2007
There will be a preparatory course conducted for those interested, this will be held 21st and 28th of April from 9.00 am to 12 noon (level 1) and 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm (level 2).

RollerSports has been approached to assist in helping the NDP organizing committee select 60 immediate level skaters to be part of the NDP 2007 show.

Age limit is 16-35. Practice will be held every Sunday at kranji camp for about 3-4 hours from Mid April-June. After June skaters will join a combine rehearsal every Saturday at the floating platform in Marina Bay. Clothing will be made to measure. Skaters just need to bring their own skates.
